Ukrzaliznytsia informed about the postponement of long-distance trains due to a powerful Russian attack
As a result of Russia’s powerful attack, there is a delay in Ukraine many trains. We are talking about both local trains and long-distance trains. Delays range from more than two to more than six hours.
The message of Ukrzaliznytsia states about deviations from the train schedule. It is emphasized that the occupiers damaged the railway infrastructure.
A number of damages were recorded in the Poltava region. In particular, there is no electricity at several stations. The contact network is also damaged. That is why trains are delayed, as movement is only possible with diesel locomotives.
Commuter trains in Poltava and Kharkiv regions are also late. A delay of 1.5 hours to two hours is expected.
In addition, significant delays are observed in long-distance trains. We are talking about a certain number of trains. Delays range from over 2 hours to over 6 hours. List of trains:
- Train 720 Kyiv – Kharkiv (6:30 hour delay),
- Train 22/21 Kharkiv – Lviv (2:30 hour delay),
- Train 111/112 Lviv – Izyum (delay 5 hours),
- Train 63/64 Lviv – Kharkiv (delay 5 hours),
- Train 103/104 Husarivka – Lviv (delay 4 hours),
- Train 17/18 Uzhgorod – Kharkiv (delay 3:40 hours),
- Train 227/228 Husarivka – Ivano-Frankivsk (delay 3:30 h).
Also, passengers of train 725 Kharkiv – Kyiv Intercity+ will be organized a transfer in the city of Poltava. People will be transported to the city by electric train. In parallel with this, passengers of train #720 Kyiv – Kharkiv Intercity+ will be delivered from Poltava to the Kharkiv terminal station by electric train. Train No. 72/71 Lviv – Pavlograd will go to Samar-Dniprovsky station.
Consequences of Russia’s powerful attack on November 8 11 people, including children, were wounded in Dnipro due to Russian shelling. Two more people are currently not in contact. The enemy hit a high-rise building with “Shakhed”. A fire broke out, apartments on several floors were destroyed, and a huge hole was formed in the building itself.
In the Kharkiv region, in the village of Korotych, the occupiers hit a gas station with a KAB. It was completely destroyed. Eight people were injured in the shelling.
In the Poltava region, the energy industry was under attack from the Russian Federation. There is no electricity, water and heating in Kremenchuk and Horishnyi Plavnyi. Electric transport is also not functioning, water supply schedules have been introduced. In Poltava, there are significant power outages.
