In Ukraine on Sunday, November 9, outages will increase significantly. Volumes and durations will increase, and schedules will operate in most regions. In addition, on November 8, they are applied until the end of the day.
It is reported national energy company Ukrenergo.
The company reported that on November 8, due to a difficult situation in the power system, the shutdown schedule was extended until the end of the day.
On November 9, outages will last a whole day — from 00:00 to 23:59, from 2 to 4 shifts will be turned off at the same time, due to which some Ukrainians may remain without electricity for up to 16 hours.
At the same time, from 00:00 to 23:59, consumption restriction schedules for industrial consumers will be in effect in most regions. Ukrenergo warned that schedules may change during the day.
“WARNING! The timing and scope of the restrictions may change. Follow the information on the official pages of oblenergo in your region. When electricity appears on schedule – please consume it sparingly!”, the message says.
We will remind that in the evening of November 8, as a result of the attacks of Russian terrorists, two thermal power plants of the state company “Tsentrenergo” stopped their work – Zmiivska TPP in Kharkiv region and Trypilska TPP in Kyiv region.
Currently, emergency power outages that were triggered by the night shelling of Ukraine by Russian terrorist forces have been canceled in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.
In Kyiv, due to the introduction of emergency and emergency power outages, there were serious interruptions in the operation of electric transport – some tram and trolleybus routes were stopped, and significant traffic delays were observed on others.
