Due to the consequences of today’s and previous Russian shelling, capacity limitation schedules for industry, as well as hourly shutdown schedules for all categories of consumers, are being applied in all regions of Ukraine today,” the message reads.
At the same time, according to Ukrenergo, emergency blackouts were forced to be applied in some regions, which will be canceled immediately after the situation in the energy system stabilizes.
In addition, the company noted that due to difficult weather conditions (ice and icing of power lines), 68 settlements in three regions – Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson – were completely or partially de-energized this morning.
Earlier today, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced that nine people were injured as a result of the Russian strike, five of them in Kyiv (according to the State Emergency Service).
