Over the past day, the occupiers have struck power facilities in several regions, as a result of which consumers in the Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Odesa regions were without power this morning.
This is reported by “Ukrenergo”.
“Energy workers are doing everything possible to repair the damage as soon as possible and restore all consumers. “Emergency recovery works are carried out in compliance with safety requirements and after receiving appropriate permits from military personnel,” the message reads.
Due to the consequences of Russian shelling, measures to limit consumption are applied in most regions of Ukraine. Until the end of the day, schedules of hourly outages of 2 to 4 shifts will be in effect. Areas with hourly outages will also have power curtailment schedules for industry and business.
In addition, due to heavy rain and gusts of wind, 16 settlements in the Kirovohrad region were cut off in the morning. “Emergency recovery work has already begun. The recovery of all disconnected consumers is expected by the end of the current day,” Ukrenergo reports.
Blackouts in Ukraine will last for several weeks after the massive Russian attack on the night of November 7-8, as Centernergo lost all its generation.
Electricity blackout schedules will continue to operate in the Kyiv region on November 11.
