“The reason for introducing restrictive measures is the consequences of previous missile and drone attacks on energy facilities. The previously announced blackout schedules are currently not in effect. Energy workers are working to restore a stable power supply as soon as possible,” the message reads.
Before that, the Ministry of Energy noted that during the day, Russian troops struck energy facilities in several regions, as a result of which there were local power outages in the morning.
Since the beginning of autumn, the Russian military has intensified its attacks on the Ukrainian energy and gas infrastructure, which supplies people with gas during the heating season.
