This is explained by the maintenance of frosty weather in most areas throughout the day. The previous day there was also an increase in electricity consumption.
Therefore, in order to balance the power system in all regions, hourly blackout schedules were in effect between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. But changes in the application of these restrictions are possible.
According to Ukrenergo, during the day, electricity will be imported from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova with a total volume of 7,197 MW•h.
