The Cabinet of Ministers adopted the relevant resolution.
Ukrainians who have been captured were entitled to defer from mobilization / UNIAN collage, Photo PO, UA.depositphotos.comUkrainians who were held captive as a result of armed aggression of the Russian Federation were entitled to defer from mobilization.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted the relevant resolution “On Amendments to Annex 5 to the Procedure for Celectrics Certificate of Military Service during Mobilization, for a Special Period”.
It is noted that this document normalized the provisions of the Law “On Mobilization Training and Mobilization” with changes of November 20, 2024.
“In order to receive a delay from conscription during mobilization, it is necessary to provide an extract from the Unified Register of Persons for whom the fact of deprivation of personal freedom as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine is established,” – informed in the Ministry of Defense.
Scraping from mobilization for those who have been capturedAs reported by UNIAN, on November 20, 2024, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine voted for granting the right to defer from conscription during the mobilization of civilians, which were in Russian captivity.
This law gives the right to defer from the service in the Armed Forces for close relatives of missing persons, as well as the civilians who were held captive.
On December 31, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed the law.
