Ukrainian rowers Lyubov Sudarenkova and Yevgenia Ilyenko became bronze medalists of the World Coastal Rowing Championship (beach sprint), which took place in the junior women’s doubles category.

The athletes received the 14th seeding number at the qualification stage. In the first round of the playoffs, they were defeated by their opponents from Cyprus, who took third place in the previous stage.

In the 1/4 finals, Sudarenkova and Ilyenko coped with rowers from Portugal, winning with a margin of more than 4 seconds.
