On October 21, three Ukrainian tennis players will start at the WTA 125 tournaments.
In the Brazilian city of Florianopolis at 16:00 Kyiv time, a Ukrainian athlete Oleksandr Oliinikov will play with the representative of Argentina, Luisina Giovannini.
Two more tennis players will represent Ukraine in the Italian city of Rovereto:
- At 12:00 Kyiv time Anastasia Soboleva will play with Lucrezio Stefanini from Italy.
- At 15:00 Kyiv time Darya Snigur will play with the Spaniard Eva Guerrero Alvarez.
Sisters Nadiya and Maryna Kolb did not pass the qualification stage for the tournament. The former managed to pass the first round, defeating Ursula Radwanska from Poland, after which she lost to Noma Nohe Akuge from Germany in the final.
Marina did not manage to pass the first stage either – she could not cope with the “neutral” Sofia Lancere.
