Ukrainian veterans will receive money for gyms and swimming pools

The Ministry of Veterans Affairs is launching a new project to support the Ukrainian military, which provides quarterly assistance for sports. According to Velychko-Trifonyuk, veterans will be able to use the funds to visit sports halls and swimming pools.

“We made changes to the law of Ukraine on physical culture and sports, which are already being passed by committees in the Verkhovna Rada. We are also working on an experimental project so that our boys, our veterans and veterans receive quarterly assistance, which can be used to visit various sports halls,” she said.

Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers launched a pilot project on free dentures for veterans.

In 2025, 10.5 billion hryvnias have been set aside in the state budget to support veterans.
