Ukrainian Luzan won the second gold at the World Rowing Championship

Famous Ukrainian rowingman Lyudmila Luzan became the world champion in 2025 in her crown discipline-rowing at a canoe-single at a distance of 500 meters.

In the finals, she ahead of Canadian Aeti Vincent and Spaniard Maria Kobruer.

• Katie Vincent (Canada) – 2: 02,5
• Maria Kobrera (Spain) – 2: 04,73

For Luzan, it is the sixth gold of the world championships for careers and the second – at the current mundial in Italian Milan. On Friday, August 22, she won with Irina Fedorov in a 500-meter canoe-twin.

We will remind, in June Luzan and Fedorov won the silver of the European Championship in a similar form of the program-500 meters in canoe-two competitions.
