Ukrainian F-16 pilots hit more than 1,300 air and more than 300 ground targets of the Russian Federation

For more than a year of operation in Ukrainian skies, American F-16 fighters intercepted more than 1,300 enemy targets of the Russian Federation and hit more than 300 enemy ground targets. The Air Force emphasizes the need to resupply these aircraft with missiles.

The F-16 accounts for more than 1,300 intercepted air targets! In particular, during today’s strike, F-16 and Mirage-2000 pilots intercepted and shot down at least 10 enemy cruise missiles“.

Details: The Air Force notes that in addition to air defense missions, these aircraft are actively used for air support of troops. Thus, F-16 pilots hit more than 300 ground targets, destroying hundreds of units of enemy equipment, command posts, UAV control points, ammunition warehouses and enemy logistics.

Literally: “F-16 pilots and ground aviation personnel work in extremely difficult extreme conditions. And the only thing that is on everyone’s mind right now is the uninterrupted and timely supply of air weapons from Western partners. Because without a sufficient number of bombs and missiles, the F-16 will not help defeat the enemy.”

For reference: F-16 fighters appeared in Ukrainian skies in August 2024. It was a serious breakthrough in building the capabilities of the aviation component of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
