The relevant statistics of the Armed Forces, Stanislav Kravchenko, provided during the opening of the program of preparation of judges of the Supreme Anti -Corruption Court.
“Despite the extremely difficult conditions caused by the war and the related difficulties in organizing work, the Ukrainian courts duly fulfilled their function, as evidenced by the statistical indicators of judicial proceedings for the past year. Thus, in 2024, the courts of all instances and jurisdictions have considered 4.4 million cases, and today there are about a million cases in the courts, ”Kravchenko said.
He noted that one of the extremely important categories of cases is proceedings for corruption offenses.
“Systemic counteraction to this phenomenon, especially in the conditions of war, is a key key to the success of the state. In addition, ensuring the principle of the rule of law and the effectiveness of justice, in particular in the aspect of combating corruption, is an important condition for achieving compliance with the requirements of the European Union, ”the head of the Armed Forces stressed.
We will remind, recently President Volodymyr Zelenskyy registered in Parliament a bill 0304 on the accession of Ukraine to the Convention on International Access to Justice.
