As Umyerov reported, a meeting with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius was held in Kyiv today, which was also attended by the Chief of the General Staff, General Anatoliy Bargylevych, as well as the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov.
“During the negotiations, they focused on the most urgent needs of the Ukrainian military. In particular, they discussed the destruction of the enemy’s missile superiority and the fight against guided aerial bombs (UAVs). We expect further strengthening of the strategic partnership with Germany in the protection of our skies. They separately emphasized the importance of providing air defense systems IRIS- T and ammunition for them. Soon Ukraine will receive 60 more missiles for these systems.” – said Umerov.
They also discussed the prospects for the supply of artillery shells, especially 155-mm caliber, and the development of armored vehicles.
