According to the results of the meeting in the Rammstein format, Ukraine will receive additional aid packages in the amount of 2 billion dollars.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in a comment to We-Ukraine.
“Plus, what is very important is 8 capacity coalitions. It is already on paper. 34 countries already support these strategic coalitions. To make it clear that this is an air defense coalition, a mine clearance coalition, a naval coalition, artillery, etc. And all this strengthens Ukraine,” Zelenskyi noted.
Umerov stated that the next Rammstein may take place in February: We want the US to stay and strengthen its presence
These decisions are an important step in strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities, particularly in such key areas as air defense, mine clearance, artillery support, and maritime security.
On January 9, the 25th meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine in the Rammstein format took place in Germany. During the meeting, the participants approved eight road maps of the coalitions, which define the key goals of the Defense Forces of Ukraine until 2027.
On the day of Ramstein, the United States announced the allocation of a $500 million military aid package to Ukraine, which will be the last from the Joe Biden administration.
In November 2024, Umerov emphasized the importance of continuing the work of the Rammstein format for Ukraine and expressed hope for continued support under the administration of Donald Trump.
