Starting in January, Ukraine and Poland will launch three working groups that will allow them to face common security challenges.
This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, after a meeting in Lviv with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Poland, Marcyn Kerwinski.
The groups will deal with the following areas:
Anti-drone defense (protection of European airspace, security of critical infrastructure, exchange of technologies).
Civil protection (evacuations, rescue operations, notification system).
Countering informational threats (joint fight against Russian fakes and disinformation).
Klymenko added that Ukraine is passing on its experience of “preventing and uncovering sabotage and terrorist attacks” to its partners – bombings on railways, setting fire to cars. These are “important cases for regional security”.
Earlier it was reported that the Polish military will arrive in Kyiv to coordinate efforts to counter drone attacks and work together on defense air space .
