Deputy Minister of Energy Roman Andardak informed the partners about the consequences of an attack that struck, in particular, the gas infrastructure, and which was called the most massive during the war in Naftogaz.
“This is an obvious attempt to deprive Ukrainians of light and heat in the autumn and winter. The Russians did not refuse to immerse Ukraine in the dark on the eve of the new heating season, ”he said.
Andarrak emphasized that with increased attacks, the need to mobilize support of international partners, in particular in physical and air protection systems, purchase of additional gas and energy equipment for repair and restoration of infrastructure, increases.
He also expressed his hope for continuing the support of partners and increasing sanction pressure on the Russian Federation, noting that thanks to international assistance, Ukraine was able to successfully take three previous winters and promptly carry out repairs.
