The Lithuanian electricity transmission system operator Litgrid handed Ukraine a new batch of aid for the needs of the energy sector. The cargo, collected in various regions of Lithuania, contains critical equipment for the restoration of substations and power lines, which will be used for emergency repairs of damaged networks.
This is reported by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
The received equipment will allow to strengthen and support the stable operation of the energy system of Ukraine, ensuring faster restoration of electricity supply for consumers.
This is already the sixth aid package from Litgrid. The company previously supplied autotransformers and other key transmission system components such as circuit breakers, disconnectors, current and voltage transformers, surge arresters, isolators, relay protection devices and automation.
We will remind you that Ukrainian energy workers have begun to restore the thermal power plants of Centerenergo, which were stopped due to massive Russian attacks.
