Ukraine presented eight “green” startups at COP29

Ukrainian companies presented eight innovative climate solutions at the UN Climate Change Conference (UNCCC29).

This was reported by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources in Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“Eight leading Ukrainian cleantech companies and green export leaders presented their innovative technologies at the UN Climate Change Conference COP29. All these companies were created and work in Ukraine, but they also have representative offices in other countries of the world, where they act as ambassadors of Ukrainian climate solutions,” the message reads.

It is noted that all companies are grantors of the EBRD/EU program “Climate Innovation Vouchers”, which has been implemented by the NGO Greencubator since 2017.

In particular, visitors to the Ukrainian pavilion in Baku were presented with S.Lab production technology for ecological packaging on an industrial scale, E Farm Pro precision farming technology, Ecofactor electric vehicle charging solution, Advansys energy consumption monitoring and management system for enterprises, and others.

This year’s summit is being called the “finance COP” because for the first time in 15 years, the volume and structure of financing for developing countries to support climate change action will be considered. Despite the full-scale war, Ukraine is presenting its pavilion for the third time, which showcases 50 key environmental initiatives of the state, business and the public.
