The publication also noted that in August 2025, 119 thousand tons of Indian diesel were imported into Ukraine, which was 18% of the total import.
Enkorr interviewed Romanian traders believe that after the ban on the import of Indian fuel will increase demand from other southern destinations, and prices for it will increase.
“Large volumes from India have not been purchased because there was no other product on the market, but because the Indian fuel was cheaper. The market is set up to other areas and prices. For example, in August we have already brought parties of diesel from the Saras plant,” Oil Terminal said.
