Ukraine has offered assistance to the Czech Republic in liquidating the consequences of the devastating flood that Central European countries are suffering from.
Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs Jan Lipavskyi wrote about this on X social network after a conversation with his Ukrainian colleague Andrii Sybiga.
“Ukraine has just offered the help of the State Emergency Service in eliminating the consequences of a devastating flood. Minister Andriy Sybiga reported that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy agreed to help. I will submit the proposal at an extraordinary meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers,” Lipavsky said.
As reported, hundreds of thousands of people were left without electricity in the Czech Republic due to strong winds and floods. Austria, Poland and Romania are also affected by flooding.
We will remind you that due to a large-scale flood in Central Europe, a number of trains from Poland and the Czech Republic to Ukraine were canceled.
