Ukraine’s efforts are now aimed at a fair end to the war and the formation of a reliable world security architecture, in which it will play one of the key roles. The head of the President’s Office, Andrii Yermak, stated this during his participation in the 20th annual meeting of the Yalta European Strategy.

Together with him, the following took part in the discussion: Prime Minister of Great Britain (2019–2022) Boris Johnson, US Secretary of State (2018–2022) Mike Pompeo and Minister of Defense of the Netherlands (2022–2024) Kaisa Ollongren. The panel was moderated by the President of Poland in 1995–2005, Alexander Kwasniewski.

“The peace formula is a way not only to end this war with a just peace, but also to return the true spirit of international law and the strength of the UN Charter,” the head of the President’s Office emphasized.

Andriy Yermak noted that during the first Peace Summit, dozens of countries at the same table discussed the prospects of restoring a just peace. All of them declared their respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

The head of the Office of the Head of State is convinced that Ukraine will definitely be at the center of the future structure of world security. Our country is actively working towards the formation of its architecture, the result of which are already 26 bilateral security agreements, as well as the Ukraine Compact, adopted during the 75th NATO summit in Washington.

According to Andriy Yermak, Ukraine is signing documents that not only take into account the current situation, but also provide guarantees for the future and fix the corresponding obligations of partners.

The head of the President’s Office noted that Ukraine should eventually receive an invitation to NATO, which would be the easiest and most effective step to guarantee its security.
