Details: When asked about the repeated Russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure in recent weeks, Stefanyshyn replied: “This is definitely a very difficult period for Ukraine.”
The ambassador noted that Ukraine is working on getting “more means of air defense”.
She added that any refusal to put pressure on Russia would be perceived as “something that gives them (the Russians – ed.) a green light to build up their capabilities.”

Before that, CNN reported that the Pentagon gave the “green light” to supply Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles, but the final decision will be made by Donald Trump.
We will remind: NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte previously stated that the provision of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine remains “under consideration” by Trump.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that during the meeting, Trump did not say “no” to the possibility of supplying long-range Tomahawk missiles, but he did not say “yes” either.
