“Regarding Biden’s strategy, I haven’t seen it, and if he shares it, I’d be happy to,” he said during a joint briefing with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
He also added that he would like to discuss in more detail the vision of Donald Trump regarding a just peace in Ukraine.
“Of course I will communicate. And if we have a meeting – I think we will – with Donald Trump, I want to understand how he sees it,” the president answered.
Volodymyr Zelenskyi also in the context of his statement about the victory plan, which he intends to present in the USA, said that this is already plan “B”.
“Regarding our plan, a reporter asked me one question yesterday: ‘What if President Biden doesn’t support your plan, do you have a plan B if President Biden doesn’t support your plan?’ I replied that we are already in plan “B”. We live and fight in it, we never had a plan “A”. Because plan “A” was to prevent a full-scale Russian invasion, plan “A” was to strengthen Ukraine with weapons and preemptively sanction the Russian Federation so that it would fear even the thought of a full-scale invasion,” added the president of Ukraine.
US President Joe Biden will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi at the White House in Washington on September 26, the White House press service reported. A separate meeting with Zelenskyi will be held at the same time by the vice president and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
Zelenskyi’s press service reported that during his visit to the USA next week, he will also meet with Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate.
