Ukraine informed its partners about the postal services of the Russian Federation, which help to circumvent sanctions

At least ten Russian postal services, which cooperate with postal operators in Germany, France and several other countries, are part of the postal logistics network through which EU-sanctioned goods reach Russia. This was announced by Vladyslav Vlasyuk, the adviser to the President of Ukraine on sanctions policy. “Two weeks ago, the relevant materials were handed over to the partners, I hope for a journalistic investigation”, — write on: ua.news

At least ten Russian postal services, which cooperate with postal operators in Germany, France and several other countries, are part of the postal logistics network through which EU-sanctioned goods reach Russia.

It was reported adviser – authorized representative of the President of Ukraine on sanctions policy Vladyslav Vlasyuk.

“Two weeks ago, we handed over the relevant materials to our partners, I hope that the journalistic investigation, which turned out so well in time, will speed up their reaction. We are also preparing our solutions,” Vlasyuk wrote on Facebook on Monday.

He also noted in the post that the first analysis of the components of the 2026 X-101 missile, which Russia used against Ukraine, had been carried out.

“Preliminary conclusions: Russia and Belarus in 2025 (learned), China is 25 and 24 years old, the USA is 24 years old and older, there are the Netherlands, Germany, Taiwan, Japan. There are no less than 45 foreign components. We can draw many conclusions. We are working with partners,” emphasized the adviser – the authorized representative of the President of Ukraine on sanctions policy.

The day before, journalists from the German publication Bild tracked with the help of GPS beacons the parcels that were sent through a network connected to former employees of the Russian Post subsidiary in Germany. In particular, we are talking about hundreds of tons of shipments to the Russian Federation.

The investigation notes that a significant role in this scheme is played by a logistics company that was registered at the end of 2022 and formally has a post office box in the city of Cologne. All parcels first arrive at a warehouse near the Berlin-Brandenburg airport, after which they go through Poland and Belarus to Russia.

During the investigation, the journalists sent the goods, which arrived in Moscow without any problems. The documents of the post office of Uzbekistan, which officially does not have the right to operate in Germany, were used to send the goods.

The material clarifies that Dmytro V. manages a logistics company that ships goods to the Russian Federation. He is the former managing director of RusPost GmbH, and in 2014 Russian Post commissioned him to open a subsidiary in the German capital. Already after the beginning of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, Dmytro V. resigned.

However, Bild journalists recorded his car, which was regularly near the warehouse where the said parcels are delivered.

Russia warned about the risk of losing access to Google services.

In Ukraine, the income of postal operators increased sharply.

The company “Ukrposhta” currently does not intend to revise the tariffs for the delivery of parcels.

Director General of “Ukrposhta” Ihor Smilyanskyi announced that December 24, on the eve of Christmas, will be the last day for accepting applications for participation in the “Winter Support” program.
