The women’s and men’s national biathlon teams of Ukraine positively completed the sixth stage of the World Cup in Nove Mesto (Czech Republic), improving their position in the Cup of Nations.
The men’s team scored 562 points during the stage, climbing to 11th place. The distance from the top ten is only five points.
The women’s national team of Ukraine finished the races in Novi Mesto in 14th place, having 3014 points in their assets – they earned 576 points for the stage.
The leadership in the men’s Cup of Nations was retained by Norway, but its main pursuer – France – managed to close the gap.
But the women’s team of France went ahead of the rivals, having 5189 points.
