On Wednesday, December 10, Ukraine imports electricity from Europe every hour of the day.

This was announced by Deputy Minister of Energy Mykola Kolisnyk on briefing

According to him, this is done to partially cover the power deficit caused by Russian shelling. Businesses were reminded of the possibility of direct import of electricity by more than 60%, which will help avoid blackouts.

Kolisnyk also noted that Ukraine continues to receive humanitarian cargo with equipment for the restoration of energy facilities from partners.

The Cabinet of Ministers gave the regional military administrations two days to reduce the lists of critical facilities that are not disconnected from the electricity supply. The lights will not be turned off in hospitals, schools, life support facilities and defense industry enterprises. The decision will make it possible to send more electricity to household consumers and reduce the load on the power system.
