Ukraine has started the final stage of the EU negotiations on the agricultural sector

Ukraine and the European Commission began screening by the last, agrarian cluster of negotiations on entry into the EU. This is stated in the message of the Viceremier Office on European and Euro -Atlantic integration. This stage is the final verification of compliance of Ukrainian legislation with European standards in the field of agriculture. The meetings started in Brussels and will last until September 10. Ukraine and the European Commission began screening by the last, agrarian cluster of negotiations on entry into the EU.

This is stated in the message of the Viceremier Office on European and Euro -Atlantic integration.

This stage is the final verification of compliance of Ukrainian legislation with European standards in the field of agriculture.

The meetings started in Brussels and will last until September 10. The Ukrainian delegation is headed by the trade representative of Ukraine Taras Kachka – the main negotiator in this process.

According to Dachka, this session is the result of long cooperation with the European Union. On the first day, the parties considered the strategy of agricultural policy development, farmers’ support schemes and expenditure monitoring system.

We will remind, the membership of Ukraine in the EU is provided by a separate item of security guarantees.

Ukraine will also complete the preparation for accession to the EU by 2027.
