The Ukrainian Defense Forces received several units of the latest Rodeur 330 drones from the French manufacturer EOS Technologie, as reported by the company’s president, Jean-Marc Zuliani. These devices have a range of up to 500 kilometers and can stay in the air for up to five hours, which allows them to be used both for deep reconnaissance and for point attacks in kamikaze mode. The transfer of equipment took place within the framework of a strategic partnership that already brought results in June 2025, when the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully tested MV-25 OSKA barrage munitions.
The Rodeur 330 is catapult-launched, has a wingspan of 3.3 meters and can carry a payload of up to 4 kilograms. The drone develops a cruising speed of 120 kilometers per hour and can climb to a height of 5,000 meters, which makes it a difficult target for electronic warfare. French developers see Ukraine as a unique testing ground for technology in real conditions of intense confrontation, where drones play the role of an offensive sword against an aggressor.
The French company Renault joins the production of long-range drones for Ukraine. The automaker will work on this project together with the defense company Turgis Gaillard.
