Ukraine has concluded a contract with an US law firm supported by the White House to prepare an agreement on cooperation in the field of Subsoil with the United States. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this during a press conference.
According to him, both parties – both the US companies and the Ukrainian side – work with lawyers. However, Ukraine deliberately chose a company that has support from the White House to avoid any accusations.
“Lawyers are both American companies, however, on different directions. I immediately said that we would hire an American company that will support the White House, so that we are not accused of anything, ”the President said.
Currently, he said, work on the agreement is ongoing, and there are no additional details yet.
Earlier, we wrote that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine does not legally recognize the occupation of Crimea, as this contrary to the Constitution.
