The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine may already approve the text of the Agreement on Economic Cooperation with the United States, which concerns the sphere of subsoil use.
This was reported by informed sources of RBC-Ukraine.
According to one of the interlocutors, the Ukrainian side is ready to sign the document today. Washington is currently the first Viceremierka – Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko, which may indicate the completion of preparatory procedures.
The sources have specified that the final coordination of the technical details of the agreement is currently underway. At the same time, there is no official confirmation or statements on the content of the agreement.
The agreement is envisaged to attract investments and development of mineral production, in particular critical for the energy and defense industry.
