Today, during his visit to Poland, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiga, held important talks with his Polish counterpart, Radoslav Sikorskyi. One of the main topics of discussion was the issue of border infrastructure development between the two countries, which is of great importance for further economic cooperation and ensuring the unimpeded movement of goods and people.
Sybiga emphasized that Ukraine and Poland are striving to sign an agreement on joint border control. In particular, he noted that the transit of agricultural goods from Ukraine should be carried out without obstacles, in accordance with the principles of the EU “Paths of Solidarity”, which ensure efficient and safe movement of goods across the border.
In addition, the ministers discussed other aspects of bilateral cooperation related to the border area, including improvement of customs procedures and increasing the level of security at the border.
