The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Dmitry Shmigal met in Kiev with the leadership of the Situation Center Ukraine of the Ministry of Defense of Germany-brigade General Joachim Kashke and his predecessor Major General Christian Froiding.
Shmigal thanked Germany for their strong security support, including the supply of Patriot systems and the personal involvement of the general in this process.
He also gratitude for the announced annual assistance of € 9 billion and a contribution of € 300 million for the development of long -range shock drones.
During the meeting, they discussed the implementation of Ramstin’s arrangements for creating joint industries with German companies and projects within Build With Ukraine. Also affected the changes in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the approach of the Ukrainian army to NATO standards.
Shmigal emphasized the value of Germany’s operational readiness to respond to challenges and noted that cooperation between countries continues to deepen.
Recall, Shmigal called the weapon required to protect energy this winter.
Shmigal also discussed the production of drones with the British military leadership.
