Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that Ukraine and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) at the level of experts reached an agreement on the sixth review of the Extended Financing Program (EFF) in the amount of $1.1 billion, reports UNN.

Ukraine and the IMF agreed at the expert level on the sixth revision of the Program within the EFF Extended Financing Mechanism. This will allow us to attract another 1.1 billion dollars to the state budget

According to him, the Executive Council can make a relevant decision in the near future.

The Fund noted our progress in fulfilling structural beacons and commitments. And they also emphasized that the Ukrainian economy continues to demonstrate stability,” Shmyhal pointed out

The Prime Minister thanked the IMF partners and the Ukrainian team for the successful and coordinated work to strengthen and develop Ukraine.

On November 11, the leadership of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the National Bank of Ukraine and experts of the International Monetary Fund began discussions on the sixth revision of the Extended Financing Mechanism program.

The State Budget of Ukraine has already received six tranches under the IMF EFF program with a total amount of about 8.7 billion US dollars out of 15.6 billion US dollars provided for by the program.
