When choosing this mode, the player will be able to choose the answer in dialogue, and the whole game will follow the linear scenario, as it was in the series.
At the same time, you can choose the canon mode only at the beginning of the passage, and later it is impossible to change your decision. At the same time, Ubisoft said that this does not affect the complexity of the game and does not take the player with the opportunity to switch between the two main characters.
The video published by the developers shows that during the standard passage, the player makes the choice that to answer the Yasuke commander of the nobunazh, or not to answer at all. In canon mode, samurai simply follows a linear scenario.
The release of Assassin’s Creed Shadows is scheduled for March 20. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
