The bodyguard of People’s Deputy Mykola Tyshchenko, Kostyantyn Zuber, who is suspected of illegally depriving a serviceman of his liberty in Dnipro together with the People’s Deputy, made a deal with the investigation and undertook to testify, in particular against Tyshchenko. Details

As reported, on November 7, Zuber entered into an agreement to plead guilty to the illegal deprivation of liberty of a person, committed as a result of a prior conspiracy (Part 2 of Article 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and torture (Part 2 of Article 127 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). He undertook to cooperate with the investigation and provide testimony exposing other persons involved in criminal offenses, to provide incriminating testimony regarding the involvement of the People’s Deputy of Ukraine and other persons in committing criminal offenses.

The court approved the concluded agreement.

According to the agreement, Tsuber was sentenced to 5 years in prison, but due to the conclusion of a plea agreement, the court released him from serving the sentence, replacing it with a probationary period.

It should be noted that Zuber was released from punishment on the condition that he does not commit a new criminal offense within two years.

The court ruling also states that 6,058 hryvnias 24 kopecks were collected from him in favor of the state.

Addition

In June, Tyshchenko was informed of the suspicion of illegal imprisonment of a former serviceman in Dnipro.

The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv extended until December 23 the 24-hour house arrest of People’s Deputy Mykola Tyshchenko, who is suspected of illegally depriving a serviceman of his freedom in Dnipro.
