As Sport.ua learned, Andriy Rusol, general director of FC Karpaty, left for Spain on December 16 together with Spaniard Andoni Bombin, who heads the Academy of the Lviv club.
The purpose of this business trip is to get to know the little-known local specialist Fran Fernandes, who may soon replace Vladyslav Lupashko at the helm of Karpat. There is already a preliminary agreement with this Spanish coach.
According to available information, old acquaintances of Rusol from Dnipro – Roman Zozulya and Yevhen Konoplyanka, who are now engaged in agency activities and already have several “own” legionnaires in the championship of Ukraine – took part in the negotiations with this specialist to some extent.
