photo press serviceOn October 7, TV channel 2+2 will start showing another premiere of the autumn TV season – the 16-episode detective series “Father”. The tape will be released from Monday to Thursday at 20:15.This is a fascinating story about the honored operative, lieutenant colonel Stepan Trokhimovych Bezbatek. After retirement, he hoped for a quiet life, but his plans were radically changed by a full-scale Russian invasion. After a year on the front line and being wounded, Batya returns home.
At the request of his daughter Lida, who works as a medical examiner, he agrees to help a young investigator solve a complicated murder case. Batya had no idea that this investigator was his son-in-law. After the truth is revealed, the conflicts between the young and ambitious Yulian Synytskyi and the experienced operative only escalate. Will they be able to suppress their emotions for the sake of exposing the criminals and saving the family?
“For a long time, I wanted to get a very alive and real character, which is Batya – an ordinary person with his own advantages and disadvantages, who sincerely loves and hates, but is definitely not afraid of anyone. I am happy that we managed to realize what was conceived in the script with the help of our cool author team . The role of Bata was played by theater and film actor Oleksandr Melnyk, his daughter – Kateryna Olos, son-in-law – Yehor Kozlov. Oleksandra Panasevych, Kostyantyn Koretskyi, Mykola Hrushkovskyi, Nataliya Muzychko, Borys Knyzhenko and others also starred in the series.
