Agency Reuters with reference to sources wrote that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi will meet with the special envoy of the US President Steve Witkoff during his visit to Turkey on November 19.

Details: Earlier, Zelenskyi said that he plans to go to Turkey on Wednesday after his visit to Spain.

He noted that Ukraine is preparing to intensify negotiations regarding the Russian-Ukrainian war.

“We have developed solutions that we will offer to our partners. Bringing the end of the war closer with all our might is Ukraine’s first priority. We are also working to restore exchanges and the return of prisoners,” the Ukrainian president said.

The agency later reported that US special envoy Steve Witkoff would visit Turkey on Wednesday and join the planned talks with Zelenskyi.

Commenting on his visit to Spain, Zelenskyi said that Ukraine is working to ensure that a meeting with Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez “brought agreements that will give us more strength.”
