He expressed confidence that “these emotions and testimony” Burns would bring to Trump.

“Pastor Burns is a person who has the opportunity to be heard where big decisions are made. And I believe that the voice of the truth from Ukraine will be brought to the very heart of the new American leadership,” said the Chief Rabb of Ukraine.

Since the return of Donald Trump to power, few members of his administration have visited Ukraine on January 20. In particular, Trump Special Representative Kit Kellog and Finance Minister Scott Bessent were visiting.

Prehistory:

  • The day before, in an interview with NBC News, Donald Trump stated that he was “very evil, angry” at Vladimir Putin for talking about temporary leadership in Ukraine.
  • The US President also threatened to impose additional sanctions on Russian oil if Moscow does not sit at the negotiation table and stop fighting in Ukraine.
  • Trump announced a new conversation with Putin this week in which they will discuss Ukraine.
  • At the same time, the US President promised “big problems” to Vladimir Zelensky for refusing a subsoil agreement.
