After that, Trump stated that he received a letter from Zelensky, in which the President of Ukraine expressed his readiness to sit at the negotiating table.
And the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova, in turn, then stated that Trump in his address to the nation called the post of Zelensky.
It is known that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio flew to Jedda on March 10 to participate in bilateral negotiations with Ukrainian officials, headed by Andrey Yermak. National Security Advisor Mike Volz and Witkoff is expected to join Rubio.
Witcoff has already stated that the United States is expecting significant progress in negotiations with Ukraine this week.
