The share of Americans who do not approve of his presidency has increased significantly.

The six-day Reuters/IPSOS survey showed that 44% of respondents approve of Trump’s work as a president, compared to 45% in the survey conducted on January 24-26. The Trump approval rating was 47% – January 20-21, in the first hours after returning to the White House.
The share of Americans who did not approve of his presidency has increased significantly – in the last survey, it reached 51% compared to 41% immediately after his admission.
Trump uses a relatively high level of affirmation on immigration policy: 47% of respondents support its approach, which includes promises to strengthen the deportation of illegal migrants. This figure has almost never changed since January.
However, the share of Americans who believe that the economy is moving in the wrong direction has increased to 53% in the last survey, compared to 43% in the survey on January 24-26. The public approval of Trump’s economic management decreased to 39% of 43% in the previous survey.
Trump’s criticism in the USRichard Blumental, a US Senate Member of the US Senate, stated that Trump voices false information about Ukraine, and this has the appearance of surrender to Putin.
“In what world does he live? It not only contradicts the facts and truth, but also extremely disgusting. It is a disgusting betrayal of a country that was floating, fighting and dying for freedom,” he said.
Blumental emphasized that Ukrainians defend not only their own but also American freedom on the battlefield, so Ukraine’s struggle is “our struggle.”
