“I spoke with the president about this this morning, and his reaction, unfortunately, was not a surprise,” White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt told reporters.
“The two countries have been fighting a very brutal war for several years, a war that would never have started if the president was still in power. It started because of Biden’s weakness. That’s why the president continues to push for a diplomatic end to the war, which is why our special envoy Witkoff and Kushner will be in Abu Dhabi tomorrow,” she said.
The President of the United States has not personally commented on Russia’s massive attack on Ukraine.

“Ukrenergo” reported a “significant number” of consumers in Kyiv, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Vinnytsia and Odesa regions without power, as well as damaged energy facilities in several regions as a result of a massive Russian attack on the night of February 3.
The attack, the target of which, in particular, was the energy infrastructure, took place against the background of trilateral talks between Ukraine, the USA and Russia in Abu Dhabi, aimed at ending the war, scheduled for February 4 and 5.
