US President Donald Trump announced the preparation of a new draft law that would introduce “very strict sanctions” against any country that continues to do business with Russia.

Details: During a conversation with reporters, Trump confirmed that Republicans are working on a legislative initiative to increase economic pressure on Russia through its trading partners. According to the president, he personally proposed this idea.

“As you know, I proposed that there would be very strong sanctions against any country that does business with Russia,” Trump said.

According to him, lawmakers are considering adding Iran to this list. He clarified that the decision regarding Tehran can be made during the finalization of the draft law.
