“We talk to the Russians, talk to the Ukrainian leadership,” Trump says. “We are now doing this topic. We have very good negotiations, very constructive negotiations on Ukraine. ”

Trump added that he wanted to stop “absolute slaughterhouse” and added that every week he was receiving reports on the number of soldiers who died in Ukraine and “these figures are striking.”

In an interview with British journalist Pierce Morgan, which was published on February 4, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that he was ready to participate in peace talks at one table with Russian President Vladimir Putin “If it is the only option for which we can bring peace to Ukrainian citizens” .

The day before, Russian Presidential President Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin could add nothing about Trump’s previous statement about progress on negotiations on the end of the war.
