Lumer is an American far -right activist, known in particular by promoting conspiracy theory, according to which terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 were staged by “forces” within the United States. She was also noticed among Trump’s surroundings during the last presidential campaign.
According to the media, during a visit to the White House on the eve of Lumer, she allegedly expressed indignation that even after checking to the US National Security Council, the so-called “necons” were “slipped”-that is, representatives of foreign policy views, which are usually associated with the Bush Jr. Administration.
After the visit, the activist Trump ordered to release at least three national security workers. According to CNN, it is Bryan Volsh, Intelligence Director, Thomas Budri, Senior Director of Legislation, and David Fait, Senior Director of Technology and National Security.
All of them have previously worked surrounded by the employees of the current administration, in particular the Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Michael Volz.
At the same time, the US media emphasize that it is unclear whether the release was a consequence of Lumer’s visit, whether it is related to other reasons – such as reports on the use of unprotected channels of communication by members of the National Security Council.
