The submission of these blasting to Ukraine was approved by the previous administration headed by Joe Biden.
The blasts are designed for the latest high -precision weapons. The United States provided this technology to Ukraine a few years ago, and Ukrainians used it in the land-air missile system to protect against Russian drones, and the Pentagon praised its effectiveness.
Air Force has adapted rockets so that they can be launched from F-16 and F-15E fighters against drones. The system is cheaper than Sidewinder and Amraam.
The unnamed Assistant Congressman praised the Pentagon for the prompt notification of legislators about his decision to redirect detonators so that Congress could take it into account when discussing the budget.
However, another assistant in Congress criticized: “The refusal of Ukraine to be weapons at this critical moment of war is unthinkable.”
“The lack of explanation of the need for this step suggests that it can be punitive,” he added.
It is known that the Donald Trump administration did not allocate military assistance to Ukraine after coming to the authorities, but weapons within the packages announced by the previous administration continues to arrive.
Earlier, Trump assured that the US would continue to send weapons to Ukraine, but expressed his hope that the ceasefire would be able to reach quickly.
