Trump published a new geography lesson, stating that Crimea is the size of Texas

US President Donald Trump has parallel to the size of Crimea and Texas, but the real area of the US state exceeds the size of all Ukraine. About it reports Clashreport.

A politician mentioned the annexed Crimea during a conversation with American radio-presented Mark Levin on The Mark Levin Show, re-accusing former US President Barack Obama of the Peninsula.

– It all started with Obama, because it was he who released Crimea. And this area was a core Ukraine. Crimea is huge. Its sizes are approximately as in Texas. He is wonderful. This huge area of land that extends to the ocean to the Black Sea is so beautiful. I mean he’s just charming. And Obama said, “Give him Russia,” said the incumbent US head.

According to Clashreport, the Crimean territory is 26 081 km², while Texas occupies 696 241 km², which makes the state 90,000 km² larger than Ukraine. Thus, Trump has overly inflated the size of the peninsula almost 26 times.

According to the politician, Obama “surrendered” the Crimea, and everyone was forgotten, but if he “gave way” to these lands, he would “get on the main pages of newspapers for twenty years.”

– If I gave this territory, I would be printed on the first pages of all editions for two decades. And Obama passed – and as if nothing had happened, they did not even mention, – he added.
