Details: Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban visited Trump on November 7. Journalists asked Trump whether he would grant Hungary an exemption from US sanctions on Russian oil and gas.

“Of course we’re looking at that because it’s very difficult for him to get oil and gas from other regions. As you know, they’re landlocked. It’s a great country, a great country, but they’re landlocked. They don’t have ports. So they have a difficult problem,” Trump said.
And when asked about the possibility of a meeting with Vladimir Putin in Budapest, Trump said that “there is always a chance.”
As is known, Orbán will try to obtain from Trump an exception for Hungary from US sanctions against Rosneft and Lukoil companies and has prepared a “large-scale energy proposal” for the US.
Orban is also going to convince Trump to meet with the head of the Kremlin.
