US President Donald Trump said he was going to reduce the deadline of ultimatum that he has declared Russia to cease fire in Ukraine. He reported this before meeting with the Prime Minister of Great Britain Kir Star.
“I am disappointed by President Putin … I will shorten the 50 days I gave him to less, because I think I already know the answer to the question of what will happen,” Trump said.
US President noted that the arrangements for the termination of the war “reached already Repeatedly ”, but then Putin violated them with shelling of Ukrainian cities, including the capital of Kiev, as a result of which people died in their homes.
Subsequently, Trump stated that the new deadline for Russia on the Ukrainian settlement will be 10-12 days from now.
– I am going to set a new term for about ten or 12 days, starting from today. There is no point in waiting. I want to be generous, but we just don’t see any progress, ”he said.

- On July 14, Trump gave President Vladimir Putin for 50 days to cease fire in Ukraine. It happened in the White House during a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. The US President has stated that Putin is “very dissatisfied” and intends to introduce “very rigid duties” if the ceasefire agreements in Ukraine are not able to reach within 50 days.
- Later, the White House official explained CNN that when Trump spoke of “secondary tariffs”, he meant 100 % tariffs for import goods from Russia and secondary sanctions against other countries that buy Russian oil.
